how to display map drive as a logical drive?

    hi my friends
    i want to know how can i show a map drive as a logical drive?
    it seems that i must change some keys in registry but how can i do this?

    I'm curious as to why you're wanting/needing to do this?

    Are you maybe attempting to "extend" a partition on a local drive to another machine?

    What OS is the other machine?

    one of the network users use some appz that cant see map drive or mounted volumes
    and im trying to use the databse of that application in specific place.
    i want to centralize this information for backup data purpose and other ....

    i know that we have this way to show mapped drive as a logical drive but i dont know how

    both of os is windows server 2003
    i need to created maped drive from other server(works like a file server) and change the type of mapped drive to logical drive in other server.

    im google it,but i cant find any result that show me how can i do this...
