Whenever I am online and go to a website that requires a password a window pops up asking for my user name and password.
How do I delete unwanted user name's that are in the drop menu of that box?
I tried looking in the map network drive, but couldn't find any info. Hope soneone can help! Thanks:confused:

In Internet Explorer click Tools -> Internet Options, click the Content tab and click the "Clear Passwords" button. If you don't want Internet Explorer to remember any usernames or passwords in the furture, uncheck the Usernames and password on forms option.

If you only want to delete certain ones just put your cursor on the one you want to delete so that it is highlighted. Then use the delete key on the keyboard to delete it.

I have windows xp. If I open "my computer ", "tools ", "map network drive ", there is an option/link "connect using different user name ". If you click on that link a password box pops up. That's the same box that pops up when I'm online, and go to a site that requires logging in. I still can't figure out how to clear unwanted users. It's no big deal, but I like to keep things tidy.

Make sure that you are logged in as an Administrator, then Open Control Panel, click on User Accounts, click on the Computer Administrator Account, in the Related Tasks box click on "Manage My Network Passwords ". Select the accounts that you don't need any longer and then click on the "Remove ".

    Hope this helps. :)
