Does anyone know how to delete (prevent) Office 97's desktop bar from showing up on the right hand side of my monitor?

I know there's an auto-hide function which temporarily hides it by moving the cursor over it. I'm looking for a permanent hide. There's a key in the registry called 'shortcut bar' but deleting it isn't the solution.

There are two ways to do it.

    1) Click at the very top of the bar (if it's still on the right side of your display) and select Exit. You should then be asked if you want the Office Shortcut Bar to start automatically when you start Windows. As Nancy Regan used to say, just say no.
    - or -
    2) Remove the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar entry from the Startup folder in Start -> Programs.

Thank you....that was too easy. I should have tried longer to figure it out for myself before posting here. But thanks again.
