My IE8 has not worked well and I thought that if you uninstall and reinstall will be all right.
I've created a de-installation of the Add / remove...bat "something" is left which makes it impossible to reinstall IE8.Through the update, Microsoft sent me the IE8 but I can not install it. Where to go and try to manual cleaning?Any suggestion is welcome.
My computer is a Dell, Operating system is XP with SP3.
    Thanks for the help

    Try sticking with IE7.

I've setup IE8 on XP systems after fresh installs of the operating system with no issues whatsoever. I've run into occasional IE8 issues (slowness, etc) on XP systems that have been upgraded from IE6 to IE7 to IE8, esp with all the Windows updates being used.

TonyT talked about fresh installs of Windows. Going from an original installation of Windows with IE6, then to IE7, then to IE8, note "fresh installs ".

I am not sure what you mean by
Have you used a .bat file or the Windows uninstaller in Add or Remove Programs? In Add or Remove Programs you might be able to uninstall back to IE6, then update again to IE8.

If you have used third-party uninstallers, you are on your own.

If you have only used Microsoft methods of uninstalling, let us know what error messages you get.

Try updating drivers and software (maybe IE related) at the computer manufacturer's website.

Thank you very much for your trouble @Mat
My English is not good, sorry...
Problems occurred after uninstalling Avira antivirus Premium.Click Tools in IE8, click Internet Options, it opens a window with the message: "This option was canceled in order to limit the effect on this computer ", And then she disappeared bar with File, Edit ..... Tools Help
It is not easy to deinstall IE8. As a connoisseur of bad computer - beginner I started with the Windows uninstaller in Add or Remove Programs. For those parts which could not be deleted, I used Your uninstaler, manually delete and deleted with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro (FileASSASSIN tools). A lot of that I deleted but something else and I can not I create a new installation. And that really want...in addition to this, everything is functioning very well...

To clarify, I ran into problems with IE when doing upgrades from IE6 > IE7 > IE8.

On the setups that were problem free, on fresh XP operating system with service pack 3 installs, I upgraded from IE6 directly to IE8.
What version of IE is on your computer now?

My experience is that IE is integrated into Windows XP, it should not be completely uninstalled, you can uninstall back to the original (IE6), but no further. If you have used a third party uninstaller
you might get it back by running System File Checker (SFC /scannow)
Using the System File Checker Tool
otherwise you would need to do a repair reinstallation of Windows. Do you have the Windows installation CD?

You could try installing IE6, but I don't think it would work.
