how to check amount of memory in 98

    please can someone tell me how to check memory in windows 98?

    Trying to get RR installed- did disk clean-up, defrag and used eliminator on the system- free space 6.90gb

    Try going to Start then Control Panel. Double click on System and it should show the amount of memory that you have installed.

    Check memory in windows 98

    There are least 2 or 3 ways

    1) Right click on my computer >left or right click properties > should tell you

    2) Start > programs > accessories > system information

    you want "physical memory "


    3) A diagnostic program

    two for free that will tell you how much memory you have on board:
