I use Mozilla's Thunderbird as my email system and have various signature templates on HTML. I've read that HTML signature files uses the "default character set" of the operating system (XP, SP3). I'm guessing this is Times New Roman because sometimes my emails return as TNR, not Verdana which I have stipulated in my email settings. How do I change the XP default to Verdana so it matches everything I use on my email.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Right click on the Desktop->Properties->Apperance tab->Advanced button is where you can change fonts for different areas of Windows and applications.

In Outlook and Outlook Express, signature fonts are changes in the signature area of the software. You might check Tbirds signature area.
