    I can't seem to figure out where to go to change passwords. I've always been able to easily find where to change passwords but not with Firefox. I'm looking for the screen where you type in your current password and then you type in your new password twice.

    Assuming you mean the master password knowing which version of Firefox you have would also be useful

    With 4.0 it's Firefox->Options->Security Tab->Change Master Password

    Thank you, Wildfire, but I don't have a "master password." Should I have one?

    I should have said that I wanted to change my e-mail password.

    In that case, you have to change it from within Yahoo.

    Annie,

    The master password is what you would use locally and is in charge of all your (firefox) internet passwords. No you don't really need one. Follow broni's advice :)

    How to change password in Mozilla Firefox

    Tony, I clicked on your link. I can't reach the screen that shows where you enter the new password twice in Yahoo. It must have something to do with being AT&T U-Verse. I've been typing in my ID and password so many times, I'm getting tired of doing it. I give up!

    Annie, you can change the Yahoo password through other browsers like IE too. Use IE if you can't get FF to work.

    Thank you, RSinfo, I went to IE and was able to find the screen I was looking for. Again, I had to log onto ATT U-Verse, I think a couple of times. I finally found the screen, after much hassle, but before typing in and confirming the new password, I was confronted with several security questions that I had to create. Seems to me, I would have created that a couple of years ago. It's late now and I'm too tired to deal with this. But thanks again for your suggestion to go to IE.

    Not sure if there is anything I need to do to close this thread. I just learning to navigate here.

    I think you have just changed the password of ATT U-Verse & not of Yahoo.

    Perhaps the page required ActiveX support which nobody else supports except MS IE.
