Resolved How secure is my password website

    This website was posted on the web. How does one even know if you try a password that it could be visible as it pertains to your computer? (if you should try a password you are using)

    rondom, I would (take an educated) guess that it uses an algorithm that takes into account the length of the password and if you use mixed case, symbols & numerics.

    A simple 1 word password like "scotland" would be easy to crack, "ScOtlaNd" would be more difficult and "TgfgER$^%567DFGFHj&*" would be virtually impossible.

    I guess I didn't present my question properly. What I want to know, is it safe to use a website like that to put in your password?

    Fairly safe,

    It doesn't ask what the password is for (eg computer/internet banking/email etc) or even the username so I wouldn't worry about it. :)
