    I'm using a HP M1500nf multi function printer/scanner (using XP-Pro)

    1. How can I create a PDF document from the scanner which only has file formats of: BMP, JPG/JPEG, TIF, PNG?

    2. (separate question). How do I scan multiple pages into just 1 document (ie using one of the above formats)?

    1) One way to do it would be to install a print-to-pdf print driver, such as pdf995, and then print the image into a .pdf file.

    2) Does it have an ADF (automatic document feeder) on top of it?

What happens if you load multiple pages in the ADF and press Scan?

If it scans each page into a separate file, can it be reset to scan all pages in the ADF into a single file?

    Spyware,

Thanks for the ADF suggestion. I tried it, but it still scans each page into its own file.

However, I discovered in the HP Solution Center > HP Document Manager that has a wealth of options and not only can it convert docs to pdf but also put all the scanned docs in one file if want.

Thanks for opening my eyes to better possibilities,

    Rob
