how long to keep backups on regseeker

    I have regseeker but want to delete the program. how long can I keep backups for safety:D

    If you uninstall the program the backups will be useless unless you reinstall at a later date.

    I can't imagine that the backups take up much space, but if the computer is running OK the last 2 should be enough.

    You can keep them for as long as you think you may need them. It would depend on what programs they might affect. If it's something that may affect the system itself, I'd think 30 days of error free operation would be more than enough to allow you to dump them.

    They are merely .reg files and can be restored without running the program that created them. Just double click on one and give it permission to add the info to your registry. You'll find them in the "Backups" directory of Regseeker, as you probably know.

    I doubt that they will have any value to you beyond 30 days but it depends on your activity level as to how soon you might notice any ill effects and want to restore one.
