I always have Pandora music minimized in the background. With IE it always stayed minimized unless I clicked on it.

With FF if I open a second window and then close it, the remaining Pandora always pops back up and I have to keep minimizing it.

How can I get it to stay down unless I physically click on it like IE?

I'm using FF 29.0.1 and still on XP-Pro (soon to be Win7)

First, in Tools > Options > Tabs Check all five boxes

Open firefox. Start pandora. Minimize firefox to the task bar.

Start firefox again. You should see firefox twice in the taskbar.

Whatever you do in the second instance will not affect pandora. If you play a video clip in the second instance, you may hear both sound tracks playing at the same time. If you close the second instance of firefox, the first will stay minimized unless you click on it in the taskbar.

If you open task manager, you will see only one entry for firefox.

See if this works for you.

    antik,

    Thanks for the info.
It works fine on 1 computer but not on the 2nd which has been kind of flaky lately.
I'll have to check it out further.

    Have a great week,

    Rob
