I am new to using Firefox and have one question.
How does Firefox control Active X downloads? Does it automatically download the program/file or will it let you decide whether you want to or not for your own safety like in Internet Explorer. I really don't want to be swamped in Spyware.

    alex,

There is no ActiveX in Firefox, which makes it the safer browser. If you're referring to downloading files from Windows Update, you will need to use IE to do so.
