Recently the trojan maccess was quarantined by one of my anit-spyware programs.

But, I do not know how long the trojan was in my system before it was quarantined.

How do you find out if a hacker has accessed my computer??

    Hi Judy.

If you go into that anti-spyware apps quarantine folder, the files should have created dates. This should give you an idea of when they were made. Granted, some of the more advanced malware do fake this date, but generally this is one way to tell.

If your worried about any other items remaining on your system, run HJT and post a log for us to look thru.

Also, let us know what your anti-spyware is calling what was found, along with file path, so we can then also assess the potential for peripheral damage.
