No startup screen= right click taskbar select taskmanager.

    cntrl/alt/del =startup screen

    cntrl/shift/esc = no screen

typing taskmgr.exe in either startment>file find or in the startmen run= no screen

    msconfig>tools>taskmanager.launch = no startup screen

I could probably come up with a couple more but it looks like the only one that has a startup screen is cntrl/alt/delete all others are screen free.

    Ann,
    I didn't get this one...
    msconfig>tools>taskmanager.launch = no startup screen

I ran msconfig>tools tab> scroll dn to taskmanager?

Love the right click taskbar one.

    I didn't get this one...
Typo on my part is: that there should be arrow in between taskmanager and launch, not a period.

    The longer recipe would be:

type msconfig in the startmenu's "file search" line

    once msconfig pops up
    click on the "tools" tab
in the list of tools scroll to and highlight "taskmanager "
click on the "launch button "

Not convenient but I included in an attempt to be some what thorough.
