How do repair an installation of IE.

    IE seems to be hanging and it never did before. I would like to remove and reinstall. Any ideas?

    As you are running IE 7 there should be an entry in Add/Remove Programs - Windows Internet Explorer 7 which will revert you back to IE 6 - then reboot and reinstall IE 7.

    Before you do that though I would disable all add-ons (Tools > Manage Add-ons) and if the problem is cleared re-enable one by one until the culprit is found.

    I d/l'd IE7 to another computer on my network. Then is installer over the previous install and then fixed the problem.
