I got an E-Mail (I use Eudora, if that matters) with an embedded picture....how do I move/change the picture to a JPEG file external to the E-Mail (on the desktop, for ex)?. All right click options are internal to Eudora (reply, forward, transfer to selected mailbox, etc). There is a Save As on "File ", but can only save as txt, rtf, and htm...and if I try that, I just get the text, no picture. If I force .jpg into Save As, I get a .jpg icon on the desktop, but when I open it (Windows Pix and Fax viewer), the page is blank. I have IrfanView, but if that'll do it, it's not obvious what to do. Thnx

Can you forward it? If so open a Yahoo or Hotmail account for free and forward it. Then try the right click to save it as a jpg.

Balo...tried that and other similar things, I just don't get any options like Save with a right click.

I don't know any specifics about how that app deals with embedded pics but I imagine you will have a copy stuffed in a temp folder somewhere any time you have the post open.

If you can 'view source' on the email and figure out what name the picture has you could try searching for it and seeing if you could deal with the stored 'temp' copy.

I'd suggest Agent Ransack for the searching. Way better than the windows search tool.
