How do I turn backgrounds off in emails received (NS 6)?

    Reason I want to do this is because it locks Mail up. Unless there is a fix to prevent the locking up.

    P.S. Apparently there was background sound with this background pic?

    Hi Dr.JB,

    I don't think there is anything you can do on the receiving end. Ask the sender to forego the pleasure of backgrounds and sound files.
