I use Microsoft's Encarta Reference Library 2003. I like it a lot (great maps!), but have no wish to upgrade it. About every fifth (?) time I use it, a message pops up asking if I want to upgrade...very annoying. Since I don't use Encarta in the on-line mode, I assume the popup is buried in the bowels of the application someplace, and gets erased when I upgrade. Does anyone know how to stop this popup? Thnx

Pete...yes, nothing there. The closest thing, to allow automatic downloads, is unchecked.

    I guess you're right :)
Maybe in the Registry too - probably best to stay out of there, just grin and bear it!
