How do I specify a start for Windows Explorer

    I use Windows Explorer to search for files in my D (data drive). Any way I can get Explorer to be positioned at the D drive when I open it rather than having to naviagte to the D drive every time I open it?

    Make an explorer shortcut using switches as shown Here and elsewhere.

    I happen to open mine at D:\. Target for shortcut: %windir%\explorer.exe /n,/e,d:\
