Hi everybody. My question is simple - hope the solution is as well: I want to place the Favorites icon on the left - in IE9 it comes on the top right hand corner - , like in IE8. I really don´t care much for Home or any others. There is a hot key combination: CTRL+SHIFT+I which opens Favorites and closes it on the left, but manually. I wanted it to behave automatically, kinda clicking outside it so that it closes by itself, again, just like IE8, that´s it. Thank you in advance.

Thanks everybody. Pete, I see it´s not possible. Tony, it´s NOT the icon. The one you´re arrowing is the "Add to Favorites" icon. I mean the lone star on the upper right hand corner, beside Home and Tools (the Gear icon). It´s very frustrating  because I was used to IE8 style. Probably Microsoft will do something about it in the near future.

Try Firefox. You'll be able to move anything you want :)

IMO, those menus got moved to the right because more & more sites are using right side menus, esp blogs and social sites. Older style Web pages used left side menus.
