How Do I install modem in right way???

    Hey I always when Install my modem I can never conect in Internet, I know maybe it happens coz I don't know to install the MODEM,could aybody tell me how to install it step by step ?? i will be greatful to u

    Follow the manufacter's instructions. Basically, V.90 WinModems want to be autodetected from bootup. If you miss the autodetection, shut the computer down and move it to another slot. Reboot.

    Oh yeah, are you putting the modem in the correct slot, like NOT next to the AGP video card?
