I have this nice pic that I want to stare at in my W2K box. (It happens to be a very nice picture of my dog when he was a pup). When I CTRL+ALT+DEL to lock the box, that little logon screen sits right on top of that image on the middle of the page. If I move it down the screen, it comes back up to the middle of it after a few seconds.

Is there a way to permanently hide the W2K logon screen and have it only show up when I do another CTRL+ALT+DEL to login?

    Thanks!

Hi, you could try disabling the log on and set this to happen automatically. Its in the settings thing somewhere. IN the network section.

This will prob only be ok if you are not needing to log on to a server etc.

There is possibly a setting in the registry with the location of the logon box (eg coordiantes on the screen) you may beable to alter that.

Sorry i cant be of more help.

    Good luck.

    Stuart.

    Hiding W2K logon window?

    Thanks stuartsjg!

That is a corporate box and I cannot automatically logon. I wonder where I could find any info on changing the registry for that purpose.

    Nice of you to reply.

    Thanks!
