    Hello

On startup I get the Administrator desktop. This just began happenning recently and I have to switch to my desktop. I am the sole user of my computer and how do I get rid of the administrator startup? On my log in I am also listed as Administrator. Thank you.

    Running:
    Windows XP
    256 MB RAM
    AMD 750 Mhz

    XP Pro or Home?

You mean your regular desktop has admin privileges, or you run from the real admin account?

Have you tried a system restore?

    Hi
In my "User Accounts" I did have the following 3 boxes:
    - Administrator - Computer administrator
    - Jim - Computer administrator
    - Guest

I deleted the Administrator account to try and remedy my problem and am left with the last two. When I boot at startup I still get the Administrator account coming up instead of the Jim account which I always had coming up before. I am running Windows XP Pro.

So probably you deleted your "Jim" account...

    Hello
Is it possible to set a user other than administrator as the default user to start at boot up?
