Windows Vista How do I clear Windows Updates

I have Vista and get Windows updates delivered before download and install.
Some are recommended and I don't want them. Today I also downloaded two updates that I did want.

Now I still get the notification for all three of these files. How does one get rid of unwanted updates??

Thanks Evan...I tried this in the past without success, but will try again. Vista has been very erratic for me at times.
