I downloaded ICQ and it automatically starts when I boot up and I don't want it to. I would like to just put it on when I need it.

How can I get to where you can uncheck ICQ in my start up... or simply how do I get to the startup options?

Startup Control Panel is a good app for centralizing startup control without modifying msconfig (which can then be reserved for diagnostics).

Some programs will keep putting themselves back in the startup list unless you shut off the boot startup in the application's options or preferences.
