It used to be in XP-Home that I could hold down the Shift key while deleting a bunch of files and they would bypass the Recycle Bin and be gone forever.

Now that I have XP-Pro/Sp2 the Shift key doesn't have an affect.

Is there another way to bypass the RB?

Although the shift+delete method still works for me, I find it handier to have that function available as a right-click option so that I can do the deed with one hand. If that sounds like something you could use, you can download it HERE. It's called XP Send To Delete on that page. Follow the instructions to download and install it. It's just a batch file and makes no system changes that can't be reversed by simply deleting. There is a readme file included with full instructions.

Maybe just my experience, but I found out number, and number of times, that I really needed that deleted file back, for some reason.

    Thanks guys,

Duhhhh, I guess I forgot you have to press the Shift before you press Delete, not after.
