    Love that sound file!

    Hi sled,

I found several NG postings which have the Registry edit necessary to do what you want. I certainly can't guarantee them, but I may give it a whirl myself at a later date.

These are for information only, and I know you will back up your Registry before trying any of these edits. ;)

If you do decide to give it go, post back and let us know the results!

Here's my Google Groups Search if you want to do more research.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Found the .wav at Findsounds.com.
I'll try the second suggestion and let you know.

    No luck:(
These instruction are for win 95-98.
What i've done so far is create the key and subkeys. They do show up in the sound scheme as an option. I put the .wav file in the media folder. This allows me to select the sound from the dropdown menu. I can then test the sound and it works. Just dosen't work when I open the application.
    I'm running XPPro.

    Any ideas?
