    I'm guessing you are being prompted to specify where you'd like the file to go????

    Be Carefull with the following:
    Control Panel->Folder Options->File types tab

    Find the file type .ZIP and click on it. Click the Advanced button. Place a check mark in the box: Confirm Open after Download

    Repeat these steps for other file types that you download.

    Actually what is happening, my files automatically go into a download folder. I then, right click to open folder in Desktop, than I have to drag this file to my flashdrive....I wish I could download directly to my flashdrive. and I have that box checked already, as you described,...I have never changed it, it was checked off my default I think,..Frank

    Course there are Many different file type...Did you check them all?

    When I click DOWNLOAD the very next thing that happens is I get a typical Save As type box so I can specify where I want the files to go.

    In Fire Fox go to Tools/ options on main make sure you have a check mark in "always ask me were to save files" Then when it asks where to save select the location
