I would like to know how do I move a thread that I started recently to another category, in order to get help. The most recent thread of mine, is not getting any assistance, and I want to see if regulars in a similiar category would help me out. I don't want to have two of the same threads up at the same time, which is why I am asking on how do I move a thread I started, to another category.

If you want more details/info., or you want me to elaborate on this further, just ask here, and I'll respond as soon as possible.

Usually there's no such thing as a "similar category ". You have replies to all your threads.

    response to recent post.

Normally, you are right. However, my most recent thread is in the general security category. Since the rate of assistance I am currently recieving is more than a two weeks span, from post to post, moving my most recent thread to malware and virus removal, may provide better results. Regardless of the reason, if transfering a thread to a similiar category would result in more responses leading to a solution, it is worth looking into.
