Resolved How can i stop my pc re-booting to install updates in the middle of my work

    My computer keeps re-booting without warning to install updates it has caused me to lose a lot of work, I would be grateful if anybody could tell me how to stop it doing it.

    Go to Windows Updates/Advanced Options/Restart this device etc. Off.

    As Windows is apparently ignoring that option check out Windows Update > Change Active hours and set a time span which suits you. If you switch the computer off at night I guess the updates will be installed when you next boot up.
