Appologies if I have put this in the wrong place.

I would be very grateful if anybody could tell me how to stop the HP recovery manager from running and wiping all my data from my HP probook 4320s.

I had a Windows start error and tried to find a system restore but instead started the recovery manager by mistake. It ran for about 20 seconds until I realised that it would wipe everything and pressed cancel.
Now everytime I start the netbook, even in safemode, the recovery manager starts up. When I press cancel I get a message saying "the installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer" ,then it shuts down.

I need to stop the recovery manager from running and then go back to the original problem and work out why windows wont start up.

    Thank you.
