I am running WIN7 Ultimate on one hard drive and 3 different Linux OS's on 3 other hard drives. Is there something in Win7 to allow me to see AND pull pix files and other things from them HDD's and put in Win7?

Ext2 Installable File System for Windows
    Explore2fs
    Ext2Read (works on Windows 7)

Personally. I only use ntfs3g and read/write to Windows partitions when using Linux. I don't want to read/write to Linux partitions from Windows.

It's a lot easier to recover from improper unmounting of partitions from Linux than it is from Windows. Linux will automatically fix what's needed while Windows may not.

    I second TonyT.

Its better NOT to write anything to Linux partitions [unless they are FAT partitions] from Windows & vice versa.

I run Ubuntu under Oracle VM Virtualbox & transfer files between the two through SAMBA.

Okay, I will leave it alone. I am having a bad time with GRUB and can't access my main Kubuntu HDD. So, I ran a Mandriva live CD and copied all the files and folders I need to Win7, in case I have to redo this whole mess I made with GRUB.

    Thanks for the useful opinions.

    Pepse.

I am still using GRUB Legacy. I posted my problem in Justlinux.com and haven't heard anything for about a week.
