How can I reload these files?

I ******* up and deleted all the files on C drive under Programs in the Creative file that looks like this;

C:\Program Files\Creative

One example is this;

C:\Program Files\Creative\ShareDLL\AHQ\CTLED.EXE

I find now when I go to Programs/Accessories/Entertainment there is nothing listed. I am missing among other things are my Audio mixers. These has the volume controls for recording and mic input.

How can I restore these or mica them without messing up all the other items I just added for home recording?

And where do I find copies of these files?

My computer speakers do not work. But all the info says my soundcards are working well.

I have XP 2002 SP2

Does anyone know where I can get copies of these files? I assume they are on the CD for the XP 2002 SP2 reinstall but I am afraid of using it and losing all my data plus the virus software I downloaded that cost $$.

Have you tried to restore them from Recycle Bin?
If no, open Recycle Bin, position your cursor on file, then right click and choose Restore.
Repeat this process until all off the files you accidentally deleted are restored.

 

Creative sound drivers may not be on a Microsoft XP CD, but they should be at their website. It helps if you know what sound card of theirs you have.
