When running Spyhunter, It shows bridge.dll in "Windows/downloaded program files ".

I viewed PROPERTIES on this folder and it said there were 33 files contained in "downloaded program files ".

However when I open it in Windows Explorer, it displays no files (on the right side of the screen).

Attempted to change ATTRIBUTES from READ ONLY, but it just locks up.

Running XP on a Gateway Laptop.

Read Only wouldn't stop you from seeing what was there.

In windows explorer, click on Tools~Folder Options~View make your settings like the picture and then click on the button to apply the changes to all folders.

Note that after you are done, changing back to the default settings is your safest option since you will now be seeing files that are usually hidden and so are protected from accidental changes/deletions.

    Hi Flatfoot
You know you said in your letter about having Spyhunter on your pc. Do you have any other software like Spybot S & D or Adaware ????
The reason I'm asking is that although Spyhunter looks pretty good, ( Yeah it fooled me ) if you run either of the mentioned programs you'll find at least 18 hits with the name of Enigma, which if you visit www.hoax-slayer.com you'll be able to check out other programs like Spyhunter , which are called parasite software you can also visit www. doxdesk.com where you'll get a list of all the parasite programs ( that are known ) and ways of removing them also try www.spywarewarrior.com a site that I recently discovered which is really informative

You can also view that folder via Internet Options. On the general tab unders Temp. files, click the settings button, then view objects. When you get there, delete that bridge.dll DPF. You don't want it! Knowing you have it, I also suggest you install, update and run both Spybot and Ad-aware, with Ad-aware configured for a custom full scan. Delete all they find.
