how can i hide logical drives ?

hi..
iam using windows xp sp2..

i have some softwares and applications in D drive and E drive and F drives.,
i create a user account for another person in limited account. ok..
now i want that user cannot do any see and operate in logical drives information..
how i can i do it...????????????

only i can see that information.....
my account is adminitrotor...

please how acan i hide logical drives information for securtiy?????????

There is a registry edit that will accomplish what you want. You need to login to the account for which you want to limit access to certain drives and edit the HKEY_CURRENT_USER key.

First, learn How to back up and restore the registry in Windows XP and Windows Vista and DO backup if you are not familiar with the registry and next find out how to Hide Drives in My Computer.

Login as admin:
You can set the drive permission via the Properties > Security tab
Using this method, limited users will be able to see the drives but you can remove their read-write privledges. Thus if they click in a drive ico they can see dirs and files but won't be able to open the dir or read, alter or execute the files.
