    Hi guys,

I have 15 desktops icons on my Windows Xp Home Edition Desktop yesterday but this morning when I turn on my computer, most of my icons are gone. I only have 4 icons left. I didn't relaise that my Desktop Cleanup Wizard was enabled before, so I disable it now.

But may I know is there any ways for me to get back my 11 desktop icons ?

    Please kindly advise.

They should be in a folder on the desktop. If not, just drag them from the Start Menu and copy.

I don't think the Cleanup actually deletes any icons---it just puts them together in a folder on the desktop. Usually, you can just open the folder and drag out any that you still want on the desktop.

It sounds like the folder was inadvertently deleted, or it is off the screen somehow. Right-clicking the desktop and choosing "Arrange Icons By ", "Align To Grid" should pull back any that drifted.
