    How about "control panel" tile in the default "start" tiled interface
    A concession to enthusiasts
    The music tile could be divided in half with the resultant empty space being allocated for "control panel" - maybe a star shaped tile ( to warn the inept )
    Currently is hidden away and a chore to navigate to

    to answer my own lament ; shortcuts of tiles can be pinned to the taskbar or start (if located in 'all apps ")
