Hotmail message "sent" but not received

    hi all
    I have just spent 2 hours drafting a complex email pressed send, was redirected to the "Your Message has been Sent" screen.
    I then went to the Sent Folder to check layout was ok and nothing was there.
    Have contacted recipient and they have not received anything.
    :mad:...what has happened here..where has it gone..there is nothing in drafts either.

    I have no idea how one would troubleshoot an email message with a 'cloud' based service. Suggest you start by getting a decent email client installed on your computer.

    Even then, if I would spend 2 hours on an email message, I would make sure I save a copy from time to time (as a local document).
