    Hello all!

I use Hotmail as a secondary email account. A few days ago, I was prompted to try Windows Live Hotmail, which I did and I think it is an improvement.

I was prompted to add a link to my Favorites but when I click it, I get an error message saying that "you must configure your browser to accept cookies" or words to that meaning. When I click my old link to "Hotmail Classic ", I get redirected to Windows Live Hotmail without any problems.

Anyone else who has experienced the same?

    Thanks for your time,
    Christer

    Some findings:

    1) It only happens when I check the box for "remember my password" when logging in. It works if I don't check that box and accept to relogin on each occasion (no need for a cookie).

    2) If I click my old link to "Hotmail Classic ", I get redirected to Windows Live Hotmail which loads OK. If I then click the new link to Windows Live Hotmail, the page reloads without problems.

    3) If I edit the new URL to Windows Live Hotmail, removing the end of the string, leaving "http://by116w.bay116.mail.live.com/ ", it works whether I check that box or not.

    More findings:

The URL that appears in the address bar varies each time I go back (automatic relogin). The number in red seems to be randomly generated and if included in the link will trigger the cookie issue.

If I delete the number and all thereafter, it works. (Basically the same as #3 in post #2.)
