Homepage Problems

Help,

When I restart my computer my Internet Explorer 5.0 homepage is set to a **** site.

I have tried changing this to a suitable site through
Tools>Internet Options
But this does not work, after my computer restarts the homepage is back to the **** site

I also have d/l 2 different top of the line spyware removers (adaware and Search and Destroy) which also have not helped.

I also have tried virus scans.

And I tried the following instructions given to me through a help chat at Yahoo!

IE 5.0????? Definitely buggy and full of security loop holes!

Kinda' old version considering all the bugs and fixes, security and otherwise, that needs to be taken care of with patches that is/was made available thru MS.co update. Have you considered updating your IE? In the least get the latest security sr[*] patch that are available for 5.0, if there still out there.
