    A couple of questions:
I am thinking of upgrading from XP Home (which came with my PC) to Pro but am wondering if it's going to be an easy thing. Is it just a matter of popping in the CD, entering a key and going from there? Do I have to do the activation thing again?

The main reason that I would like to have Pro is the feature of the Power User which is not available in Home. There are some users on my system that I would like to have a bit more power than just a limited account but I don't trust them to have full admin rights. Is there a 3rd party software, add-in to make this feature available in Home? If so I won't bother with the upgrade.

    Thanks in advance.

Upgrade is your route of choice if you want more security control and user options. That and NTFS for your file system.

Should be dead easy. CD in and install over the existing home load.
