I know there's a file/folder or something, somewhere, that stores all url's/websites visited. It's not deleted or cleared when you "clear history ".

How do I view this file, and how do I clear it in Windows XP Home?

Tools, Internet options, content, autoComplete and untick the boxes as well as clearing both options.

Your page history should be deleted from delete history button in Tools, Internet options. Also clear Cookies and delete files under Temporary Internet Files.

Check also in C:\Documents and Settings\your login\Local Settings, but these should be cleared by above. Worth deleting all that is allowed in the Temp folder as well.
