I do not have any history for the past 6 weeks. I have the history set to keep for 678 days. I cannot figure out why there is no longer a history being recorded. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am having the same problem with Firefox. It won't keep a history of the recent webpages I visit anymore. Don't know if it's related to your problem though.

If you set history for, say 21 days is it retained?

You could try running IEFix - It may fix the problem.

Suggest you post your problem with Firefox in the Mozilla and Netscape forum.

Check the following in Firefox ...
Options - Privacy - History .... the following phrase ...
Remember visited pages for the last (nn) days.
The value setting for (nn) must be greater than zero.

Continuing on same page/view, look at page bottom, see following phrase...
The clear Private Data Tool can be used to erase your private data using a keyboard shortcut or when Firefox closes.
Click on "Settings" button to right of phrase. A second view comes to screen ...
Top area of screen, Under Private Data, put a "Tick" in front of each selection you wish to have "cleared ".
Bottom of same screen, under Settings
Put a "Tick" in front of phrase/option when you want this action to occur.

eeyorehoney66--In response to PeteC's original suggestion you posted
I suspect you cannot retroactively restore the past History file. But perhaps now it will work day by day?
