History in IE 5.5

    I posted, but got the dreaded IE error page, so forgive me if this goes through as a multiple (I don't see it in the list, I did check!)
    How do you delete that darn irrepressible "History" menu in IE 5.5? I right-click and choose delete, but that won't work until I do it about 50 times - the history just keeps reappearing!

    Click on tools-options and on the general tab click on the clear history button. If you don't want it to keep a history set the days to keep pages in history to 0. If that doesn't do it open windows explorer and browse to windows\history and delete it there.

    Thanks, I was afraid that I would have to set days to zero. Using the Clear History button doesn't work.
