FYI,I tried it and had to return to the old version. This new one looped in the scanning mode when asked to scan and store a log file. The straight scan worked fine, just the logged version.

I tried it again with a new dl/install and the same results. I think my modus operandi plays to the weakness. I hide all the normal items by sending them to the ignore list so that nothing is found unless it's a new addition. With nothing found, it continuously loops looking for something until I stop it manually. Works well otherwise. That only happens when I press the Scan and Save Log button. No big deal so I think I'll keep it and work around that. It won't be a problem for most people, just those who like to ignore the items that have passed inspection before. A harmless bug I'm sure.

Tried that and the results were as you say. There is a HijackThis thread at Spywareinfo and was thinking of posting this bug there. Would you like to do that since you're the one that found it?

Ok, posted the bug on Spywareinfo, I'm fairly certian that Merijn monitors the board. Even if he doesn't, I think someone will call his attention to it.
