    Assuming, this:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Salon Iris] C:\Program Files\Salon Iris\Iris.exe
    is your webcam,
    you can fix this:
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: WgaLogon - WgaLogon.dll (file missing)
    ...irrevelant to your problem
Other, then that, your HJT log is clean.

Can you post full error message, and when, and where it happens?

(file missing) is a bug in HijackThis often seen on many entries. No reason to fix that entry, as it is legitimate.

    In responce to Broni

    Hi

Salon Iris which you mentioned is a appointment reservation programme that seems to be causing the PC to crash. Everytime I try to back up the database it gives the error 0x7c198fea message. I have spoke to a rep at salon Iris who where helpful but said it is definatly a opperating system problem.

    Thanks for your reply.

Surely enough, he didn't say what problem, right?
I think, it was ridiculous answer.

    humm... yes i would agree.

When you run a HiJackThis report what does it can for?

Is it worth just rebuilding the system?

HJT check for nasties on your system. You have none, so you're done with HJT.
What for? Because one program doesn't work, and its support gives you lousy excuses?
There is no guarantee, this particular program will work after after reinstalling Windows. I'd rather dump that program, and use something else.

"The memory could not be read" error message points to application rather, then your operating system. So much for Iris technical support.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the application.
