Not sure if this is where I should have put this......I was the one having the problems with the extremely slow computer. I thought that I had made my "new" surfing expectations clear, but apparantly I didn't! :)

Someone had downloaded "Top text ilookup" (whatever that is!) and when I checked around - I had all kinds of garbage on our computer again :(

Could someone tell me what is safe to remove from this log?

Please dont post Logs unless yo have ran both spybot and adaware, if you have say so please, and also please do install SpywareBlaster.

Open task manger and end task on "kvxeqd.exe "

Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items
Close all browser windows and shut down all other programs(even Folders) that show in the taskbar. Then Hit fix selected

    Hi Kim,

Looks like you may have to be a bit more assertive about the 'new surfing expectations' :D The only thing I would add to Lonny's suggestion is to take a look at this post concerning the O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
    entry in your log.

BTW, logs would normally be posted in the security forum. ;)

I am considering putting a lock on the keyboard

Oldest son admitted to downloading iMesh - getting what he wanted and then removing it (he couldn't figure out how I knew he was not paying attention to the new rules :D )

    I ran Spybot and Adaware.
