Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but after viewing a lot of threads concerning Hijack this logs when I ran Hijack this on my computer I didn't have any F entries. My first entry is an O2. Is this bad?

No, it's not bad at all. Log files are rarely exact as you can imagine with so many users having so many configurations.

It is a little odd if you don't have any 'R' lines tho, as you didn't mention that.

If you want to find out more about HJT you can read this tutorial, by Bleeping Computing

It gives a detailed explanation of each section from 'R' lines thru '23'.

    Enjoy your reading!!

Well I did see the explanation given in the Hijack This program and I believe the reason I don't have any R's is because I use about:blank as my IE home page and I have the Google Tool bar installed and use it for searching, at least judging from the explanation I think that is the reason. I ran my log file through an online analyzer, http://hjt.networktechs.com/ and every entry that they marked as suspicious was in effect not.

I strongly suggest you stay away from any automated HJT analysis tool. Pretty much all of them are notorious for all sorts of false\positives.

Thanks for that information. This was the first time I used it but I did go through everything line by line and on some lines if it had an file on it that didn't seem familiar I Googled the file name and they were all programs that I had installed. Since I keep my computer on 24/7 because of my Apache Server I really try to keep a tight hold on everything. I use Zone Alarm as you can see along with Spybot S & D and MS Defender. Knock on wood but in the many years I have been on line back from the days of Windows 3.1 and before I have never had an infection.
