Hiding ones IP address

    Is that possible? For example, just surfing the net.

    Yes, with anonymizer programs. You essentially surf through their servers and my understanding is that they can assign you different IP addresses. It does tend to slow things down but it keeps you anonymous. There are some freebie programs as well as those for which you pay. Just do a Google search.
