Is there a way using Outlook Express 6 to hide the address's of the other recipents so they do not display to everyone being sent the email. Besides using Blind Copy.

    Hope that makes sense.

I have a client that sends out the same email to multiple recipents but some of the recipents dont like their email address to be reflected for everyone else to see. I can do it in Eudora but unable to find how to do in Express.

Only way I know to do this in OE, the TO: is to yourself, the others are BCC.

I was afraid of that but thanks for getting back to me. Eudora does it quite simply but Eudora has a few quirks that some users find hard to understand so I guess she is out of luck.

gghartman--Are you saying that you or your client do not know how to send a Bcc: from Outlook Express??
On the New Message window Toolbar, click View, select All Headers. That adds the Bcc: option to the window where you indicate to whom the message should go.
If this is not the problem, I still do not understand what the problem is. I can send a message with the only addresses being indicated in the Bcc: box. The recipient sees that the message is to "Undisclosed Recipient ". Of course the Sender's name is shown.

All messages to me, that say "undisclosed recipient "
are filtered/deleted directly - so that I never see them.
You would think Microsoft would find a more "elegant "
way - then again, I've never known them to do that.
Courier has a nice "blind send" feature, it's great.

So where do you setup filters within Express ???

Have not heard of Courier before but Eudora has a good and fairly simple way of doing it also and its done at the group email folder and the way you create the group folder.

AFAIK, you can only have "views" in OE.
The only view that I have is that it's free junk.

Courier is a much better program than Eudora
and it has a Furum right here (under Internet).

I will take a look at Courier. Surprised you feel its even better than Eudora. Have been using Eudora since DOS days when it was still on 3.5 diskette and the email thing first started.

What types of import export does Courier have regarding messages and address's. Can you import into or out of Outlook Express. What down sides are there ???

Just look under Windows BBS > Internet > Courier Email Client.
It's free to try. The great stuff it will do, would take many pages.
